It has been such a long time since I haved typed a blog post for you guys. I missed you so much. Middle school is going very well so far. I have excellent teachers and have met a lot of new friends this year. Middle school is so much different then what im use to more people, more discipline, more hard work, but its everything i thought it would be. As a 6th grader i can’t participate in sports until next year but I can be a manager. I would like to try out for the cheerleading team at the end of the school year……I think i will so everyone wish me luck!!!!!

Want to know more about me and my 1st year of middle school experience just comment and i can tell you lots about it and maybe even a little advice.

Sincerely,

LIZ JOHNSON

A-20 CCR Camp Greenville 2010!!!!!c

You might be wondering what…..CCR stands for well I’m going to tell you. On April 19, 2010 5th and 4th grade upper house Peeler went on a camping trip to Camp Greenville. When we went on our trip, our principle told us that it stands for courage, compassion, and responsibility. Courage to me in my own words is when you are brave enough to do something that might scare your head off but you do it out of the braveness in you. For example holding a snake at camp was horrifying to me!!!! Compassion to me is when you listen to somebody and is understanding what they are saying and not being disrespectful and not listening. Responsibility to me is taking care of what you need to do and doing it in the right way!!!

Dear Mr. PRESIDENT

Dear President Obama,
In the most respectful way I do not agree with you about testing. To me it’s like I feel a lot of pressure and feel like I won’t do well. I love my teacher dearly and I would hate for her to be fired. In Florida there might be a new law that teachers will be fired based on their students’ test scores. I would hate for this to come up to North Carolina at my school because my teacher is the best teacher I’ve ever had. Some kids don’t do well because they feel under pressure like me. Testing is good because it helps us and our teachers know what we’re good at and what we are not. I just think it shouldn’t count as our grade and the government shouldn’t have such a big fuss about it. Testing is also not good because it puts pressure on us kids and we don’t know what to do. It is like our minds go BLANK! Well that’s my letter Mr. President Thanks for reading.

Sincerely,
Elizabeth D. Johnson

A-18 Help STOP ivory sales!!!

I think people shouldn’t kill elephants for their tusk, because they wouldn’t want people killing them for their valuable parts. Ivory cost up to 1,000 dollars per pound that 1,000 dollar little piece of ivory should stay on that million dollar elephant. Hate is a very strong, but I bet those elephants hate those poachers. It’s just wrong to nature. I wish an elephant would just sit on the poachers who would try to kill them. We don’t have to have jewelry but we do need elephants for their waste and, what elephants are going to be in the Zoo huh? I love elephants because they are my favorite animals with the letter E because my name starts with an E that’s why. This is my side of ivory for sale!!!

A13–New Year’s Resolution

My New Years Resolution is to be a better aunt to my one-year-old nephew Ryan. I am willing to help him with words and things he is trying to learn. I will help him with his numbers from 1-10 he is good at it but he could be better. I would teach him how to act in daycare and not bad and crazy like other kids.I would tell him to not let people get you in trouble and listen to your teacher. I would like to change my nephew from crying and from whining and that is my New Year’s Resolution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    

A12-A Christmas to Remember

I remember last Christmas I gave my first nephew named Ryan. He was 11 months and 4 weeks old. The cup said Ryan I thought it would be nice to get it for him. When I presented it to him he grabbed it first thing and went to his (mommy my sister) and said jusssie but the word is juice. It was so cute. I love my nephew. At the bottom of the screen there is something I wrote about my nephew. It is called how to annoy your nephew. Leave a comment on both stories!!!  :) :):):):):)):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
